Business Type Searches
The business type search enables you to find a selection of businesses that can provide the service you require. By simply entering the type of business you are looking for in the business type search box, a list will be returned of businesses and services that can provide you with the service or product you require.
For example, if need to have repairs done on your car and need to locate a garage, simply insert the keyword garage into the business type search box and click the SEARCH button.
You will now be presented with a list of business categories that relate to your search. Click on the category that relates closest to your search i.e. garage services and a list of your results will appear.
If you want to refine your search, please see our search tips page.
Business Name Searches
If you know the name of the business you require and need to find contact or address information, enter the name of the business into the business name search box.
For example, if the business you are looking for is called smiths, enter this as a keyword in the business name search box and click the SEARCH button. You will be presented with a list of business names that contain the keyword 'smiths.'
Please note: Entering a common keyword like smiths is likely to return a large number of results, some of which will not be relevant to your search criteria. To learn how to refine your search, see our search tips page.
Exchange Town Searches
If you know where the business you require is located, but do not know the name or contact details, try the town search. If you enter town in the town search box, results for all the businesses and services that share the town you entered will be shown.
However, the search will work best if combined with one or both of the other search boxes.
For example, if you want to find all the restaurants situated in Peel, enter the keyword restaurants in the business type search box and enter ramsey in the town search box. The search engine will find all of the restaurants in the town of 'Ramsey.'
